The Germans have been lording over Greece in a way that is incredibly short-sighted and arrogant, in response to the economic troubles that Greece and the Euro have been encountering lately.
Germany needs to put up or shut up.
The rhetoric coming from German media outlets has been very negative toward Greece, which sparked retaliatory comments from Greece about the Nazi German occupation of Greece during World War II, and the subsequent looting of the Greek treasury by the Nazis, which has never been returned to Greece.
It’s been a real nasty verbal battle, which will only be made worse if the Greek economy collapses under its debt load.
And I thought the French were arrogant. The Germans are acting downright ugly!

Yes I agree with you considering the fact that Germany cost Europe and the world BILLIONS of dollars and countless lives when they invaded Europe maybe it isnt very prudent of them to demand anything. They destroyed millions of dollars of property in Greece and killed many people (jews and nonjews) in Greece. Maybe Greece could send THEM a bill? After the calculations of Greece’s debt against Germany’s debt you’d end up with the embarrasing bottom line: Germany owns Greece cash.
Germany is paying Israel for all the evil they did why not start paying back the other countries too. Im sorry if I sound angry but Im so fed up with Germany’s arrogance especially since Greece’s banks were manipulated (much like america’s were) by greedy business people who weren’t from the contry itself (many were GERMAN and other foreign investors trying to manipulate the Greek government to buy buy buy). Oh I know of German arrogance , my whole family that suffered and half of them being thrown into ovens knows about German arrogance.
