Ashcroft Resigns

I wish John Ashcroft well on his health and his retirement.

I hope President Bush chooses a jurist and not an ideologue for the post of Attorney General. He needs someone who will run the Justice Department, defend the Constitution in all aspects, and enforce the law, not supersede it.
